OMGZ!!!! Its so damn ugly my eyes hurt!

But so was Op Flashpoint and it's still one of the best gaming memories I've ever had. I never got around to try ArmA, but I'll probably try this when it comes.

The thing that even ArmA manages to do is to look epic. Sure one guy shooting another guy, that looks a bit meh, but Blackhawks circling a town at night pouring down minigun fire while tanks and APCs burn below and grunts on the ground trade tracers is a sight to see. No other game can do that without scripting it. Shit I've had stuff happen by accident in ArmA that make the scripted set pieces of Call of Duty 4 look like a retard eating jam with a fork.

Arma is godlike, its so damn random. Surely the mission is scripted, but reload it over and over and always something else happens, from KA-50's crashing into mountains to jumpjets giving you the lead in an epic battle.

Yeah, Operation Flashpoint was so way ahead of its time in many respects. It suffered from being positively butt ugly and being so relentlessly unforgiving only people who enjoyed electrical probes up their bottoms could like it.

But the things that happened, and the moments you had. Gives me shivers. Shit, I'm just have to gonna get ArmA...

Better get Queens Gambit too. The original singleplayer story from ArmA kinda ends all of a sudden. Like they wanted to do more, but fuck it, let's release it and add more later.
