    Default New Economy Patch

Twice as much labour means we're going to need bigger haulers.

I really like the new economy. Less bunddle boats, more labour, a lot more vanilla PvP - more fun, evenly matched battles.

    Not really.

Every person in the chain, producing something will have much more stock than needed for the society. So what will happen - stock overflow is going to end up on the market. Where Joe the Shipmaker can pick them up and build his own little boat. Which is the point of this patch, I assume.

It's going to attract a lot of people with anti-social behaviour for sure

That might be true for other societies, but I think twice as much stuff for RL means we should just about be able to keep everybody in high-end warships and green outfittings.

Good to see they're sorting out the provision chains. They were needlessly overcomplicated.

My days as a cowboy are over. Got thousands of beef waiting to go into the lunches. Now I'm a prickly pear dealer.

These econ changes seems sensible to me. Ok, as stated it will mean lone guys can build boats, and I liked the "must have uber society to build boats" but when I last played the AH was so dead. Guess it's better for the game overall.

You still can't quite solo build a ship from scratch, but fewer guys can, or on a society level you can churn ships out. The economy has always been a pain for us because we don't have a handy nutter with ten accounts who lives in the game to fall back on.
