SWTOR revisited

Tested SWTOR again and got sucked right in, its f2p and worth it just for the lore/story bit of it (Imperial agent story is amazing).

On a side note, with patch 2.0 all class got revised and are a lot more fun now compared to before.

Anyone else playing?

but after testing a few f2p mmos very briefly i looked at my wow account and activated a free trial

A small number of us tried it just before the latest expansion came out. It was ok, there is an awful lot of Pay-gating in the game.

Yep. You need to spend incredible amounts of cash to make it worthwhile as f2p, so you may as well sub again.

STO is pretty good as a freebie now but can be expensive for the "toys"
Rift is cracking if i'm honest and reasonably cheap for the frills
Marvel Heroes is a bit Marmite and is all money grab

And I thought they went f2p. Or was it buy to play?

It is F2P. It is just, as i said above, heavily Pay-Gated so you have limited access to everything - 3 Flashpoints a week etc etc etc.
