    Default Recruitment

    Hey fellas,

I hit 50 yesterday and spent most of today doing group content. The end result is around about 10 people have added me as a tanking bitch friend. One of them was also asking if we were recruiting. I wanted to get our recruitment requirements down because if I actively whittled through these people I could probably skim a few decent level 50 players from the pool for us.

Going by the player list that Fusion has kindly sorted out and the raid composition information I linked before I think we are short of at least:

    0 Tanks
    1+ Healers
    3+ Dps

Using the + sign to denote additional required for redundancy.

We seem to have plenty of people willing to tank and part time tank which is great but the other roles need a bump.

So are we happy just getting people in for now?
Should we tell them that trials will begin in earnest when we start raiding?
Are we aiming for a class balance of any kind?
Anyone got anything they want to mention? :P

I think a "for now" option is a good idea.
Some kind of functional trial is needed, but I don't mind if that takes place in 5man content before raiding starts: what we want is a commitment to the raid group and some ability to play.

I'd add another healer, as structuring raids around my wow/life schedule will be entirely a bad idea. I'll definitely be available whenever possible, but unless we decide on some weird ass raid times it'll be tough.
if class balance happens, that is good, but we've never managed it in wow

    so, to do:
    • Raid schedule
    • Post for direct people to without current (prospective) raid team, so they can judge at a glance if they're happy to share drops.
    • possible loot system (suicide kings is easiest I think)

    • I vouche for the "for now" idea. Given that you invite people you've actually played with or know. Not fan of the zone recruitment spam
    • Added benefit is: more people = higher guild level => flasks and other nice stuff
    • Aim to have at least a surplus of 1-2 per role? Gives some competition for the spots and we can't be entirely sure everyone will actively play/raid

Could we also put this in a closed section, so not everyone can read this?

Also, should prolly add us to this list:

    https://forums.wildstar-online.com/f...-list-by-side/

But before we do, let's clean up the forum abit? Have an open section for potential applicants, and a closed section for members, etc.
